I am excited to announce that my book/Bible study is published and ready to read! What Bend? I Can't Even See the Road! is an eight week study that uses my experiences contracting encephalitis, which is an infection of the brain caused by an infection, as well as aseptic meningitis, both of which nearly killed me six years ago. The Lord, however, had other plans and brought me through that terribly painful time and long recovery. Unfortunately, these infections were the catalyst that would bring on many neurological presentations that would only be diagnosed December 23, 2013 as Multiple Sclerosis. Commonly referred as MS, several symptoms were finally making sense to me.
The introduction to the book says that this is a book about hope, real Hope with a capital "H." It engagingly tells my story in short, usually humorous vignettes. They are followed by questions and scripture that is designed for small groups studies, but is also appropriate for the individual reader also.
It is already available on Kindle for $7.99 and lists for $9.99. However, if you e-mail me, I will send it to you for $7.00, which includes postage. My e-mail is: [email protected].
Also, I would like to share my story of hope at area churches and libraries. If you would be interested in an informal talk to a full blown sermon, music included, if desired, please e-mail me. Feel free to pass my contact information to appropriate people as well. Here is a quick form if you prefer me to contact you. :-)
