I had a substitute neurologist, being a Saturday, who wanted to briefly know my medical history. Really? That'll be an easy six year summary. I gave him the very briefest history. He asked me why I think this is auto-immune and how I justify plasma exchange. "I'm not the doctors who have been working with this for six years. I know that this treatment stops a flare and reduces the nerve pain and helps with balance issues."
He actually responded by saying that pain is subjective and does not justify this treatment. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I would love for him to have my nerve pain for 30 seconds and then ask him how freakin' subjective it is. I wanted to tell him to take the first flight back to India, but, of course, I didn't. It just amazes me how arrogant some of these doctors are who literally know nothing about my case, and really are not interested. I can't wait to get my little "Spectrum Health Patient Survey" in the mail. This will be the doctor billed as "out of network" like last time that I'm supposed to pay for. I don't think so.
Well, let's turn our attention to the big Michigan/Michigan State game. Michigan State just about had their first touchdown, but had to settle for another field goal, making it 6 State, Michigan 3 in the second quarter. I won't publish this until the game is over. ;-)
